RE-AFFIRMED:
POLICY:
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the North Toronto Club request the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario to petition the Premier of Ontario and the Royal Commission on Taxation in Ontario requesting that the basic exemption allowed widows and others in the Preferred Class under Section 7 of the Ontario Succession Duty Act be increased to $100,000 with necessary adjustments to constitute this true exemption of $100,000.
