RESOLUTION:THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Womenâs Clubs of Ontario urge each Ontario club and the BPW Ontario organization to:
1.Urge their local media to provide equal coverage of female and male athletic events/achievements;
2.Encourage local financial institutions and businesses to make financial support equally accessible to female and male athletes.
3.Persuade taining facilities to allow equal opportunity for usage by female and male athletes.
4.Urge that local provincial athletic associations/organizations provide equal recognition for both female and male athletes.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that facilities for training, financial support and media coverage be made equally available to female and male athletes.
