THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urges the Ontario Government to reinstate and strengthen the Ontario Women’s Directorate.
BACKGROUND:
Women have been disproportionately affected by the Ontario Government spending cuts. The Ontario Advisory Council of Women’s Issues is currently under review and there is rumour that OWD is also under review.
