THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario, in particular the Ministry of Health to:
1. Implement the expansion of long term care beds immediately in order to meet the current needs of the elderly and infirm; and
2. Expand the short stay bed program so that affordable convalescent care is available to everyone regardless of income.
