RESOLUTION:THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario to revise the appointment process (to include consultation with National and Provincial levels of Women’s groups such as The Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario who are aware of eligible and capable women lawyers for judicial appointments) in order to increase the number of women lawyers appointed to the bench.
