RESOLUTION:THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario lobby the Ontario Training and Adjustment Board to allocate at least 50% of the training dollars to women and that measures be taken to ensure that barriers to training that women face (transportation and daycare) be addressed by the said Board.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario get actively involved in recommending individuals for appointment and/or nominations to the Ontario Training and Adjustment Board.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge its local clubs to get actively involved in recommending individuals for appointment and/or nominations to the local Boards.
