THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario requests the Government of Ontario to amend the Ontario Human Rights Code by removing the upper age limit on age discrimination in employment and that this measure be stated to be intended to ban current mandatory retirement practices.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario reaffirms its Resolution 1982 – Abolition of Mandatory Retirement Age.
