THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urges the responsible government agencies put in place a program to educate related family services and law agencies about the Genital Mutilation Law;
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that BPW Ontario urges the Government of Ontario to ensure the Ministry of Community and Social Services to provide access to age appropriate counseling to females who have been circumcised;
AND FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that BPW Ontario urges the Government of Ontario to work with the Government of Canada to ensure that families immigrating to Canada are informed and educated about the Genital Mutilation Law
