THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that BPW Ontario commends the government of Ontario for the TV advertisements that “spouse abuse is a crime” and also urges the Government of Ontario to continue similar ads with translation/interpretation for the multimedia;
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that BPW Ontario urges the Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Community, Family and Children’s Services to offer workshops/seminars in management of economic and work related stress and a course on anger management that should be mandatory for perpetrators on a “no cost” basis when the police are called to a domestic citation;
