THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario to instruct the Minister of Community and Social Services to change the Ontario Disability Support Program such that the ODSP’s needs assessment criteria takes into consideration income tax, employment insurance and CPP deductions
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Minister of Community and Social Services to change the Ontario Disability Support Program’s criteria so that Ontario residents whose only source of income is CPP Disability Income in lieu of receiving the ODSP income supplement to have the ODSP needs assessment criteria waived so that the applicant would be eligible for the ODSP health and welfare benefits.
