THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario recommend that the Government of Ontario amend The Election Act (1970), Section 18, subsection 1(c) to read: “prepare three legibly typewritten copies of such list so verified, indicating surname and initials only and excluding any reference to sex or occupation; one for delivery by the returning officer to the printer, one to be posted up in the office of the returning officer and one to be posted by the enumerator in a conspicuous place in the polling subdivision for which the list was prepared.”
