THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Business and Professional Women’s Clubs of Ontario urge the Government of Ontario to ensure that the property rights given under the Family Law Reform Act also apply on the death of a spouse through amendment to the Family Law Reform Act and/or to the Succession Law Reform Act, subject to the provisions of any domestic contract under which the surviving spouse had released his/her interest in family property.
